I love it because I get to write about celebrities all day and then I get to party with them in Hollywood!
Last week I went to the OK! Magazine Pre-Oscar Party at the Emerson Theater... it was amaze-balls.
I had a shit ton of fun partying with some of the Real Housewives of OC, Beverly Hills and Miami... I'd have to say the nicest ladies were from Miami. I know, kind of a shocker right?
Oh also some of the stars of Shahs of Sunset were there. I have a special place in my heart for MJ, though I do have some words about her, but more on that later.
So I'm just going to give you the run down on my encounters with the ladies of Bravo...
Joanna Krupa
Joanna was probably one of the nicest housewives I spoke to that night. Our conversation was really quick, but still she was so humble especially for a super model / real housewife.
BTW she was so beautiful! Oh and no I'm not super short, she was standing on a step I swear LOL.
Taylor Armstrong
I've met Taylor about 5 times before this night and yet every time I would meet her she would have no idea who I was... let's just say some drinks might have had something to do with that.
Anyways, this time she finally recognized me.. I think. She was sweet and looked really good. She came with her new man John Bl-something and told me he was the love of her life.
Nice lady, but I'm still waiting on an email from her publicist about an interview so.... yeah.
Karent Sierra
Karent is another one of the sweet housewives. We just talked for a second and no, I didn't call her the carrier pigeon LOL. I think reason she and Joanna were so nice might be because they are still relatively new to the housewives game. They seemed so nice and not nearly as pretentious as some other D-Listers I've met in the past... *cough-cough* Heather McDonald.
Gretchen Rossi
Okay sooo here's things go a little south. So I met Gretchen while she was walking over to the red carpet. When we met we actually had a really good conversation. We talked about how good she looked, we talked about the show and other random stuff.
Everything was going well until her publicist or handler stepped in. He stepped up and said, "Okay, okay babe she's got to go! No you'll get your time on the carpet! Let's go, she's got to go."
Okay first off, she had no where to go! She was waiting in line behind the other "celebrities." Second, don't call me babe you twat. Gretchen was actually really cool, but her publicist or handler or whatever was totally obnoxious.
Mercedes Javid (MJ)
Last but not least, Mercedes Javid (MJ from Shahs of Sunset). Okay so I've met MJ a few times in the past and every time she has been really awesome. In fact, she's probably one of the most personable celebrities I've ever met. The last time we talked was at a Pre-Grammy party in Hollywood. We took pictures and talked about the show and a bunch of other stuff.
At the most recent event, we met before she went on the carpet and once again she was cool. We only talked for a second because she was in a hurry, but she said we should meet up inside the party. So later on when I was in the party, I say her walking my way. I thought she would come up and catch up with me, but unfortunately she just smiled waved and kept walking. I get it, she doesn't owe me anything and I still really like her, but I'm not going to lie I was a little disappointing.
Besides that moment MJ is still one of the coolest reality stars you will meet right now. She's always happy to talk and take pictures, she's very fan-friendly.
Oh and the picture of me and her is from the last event not this one.
So that's it! All my experiences with the ladies of Bravo at the OK! Magazine party last week.
